DANIEL LEEZER
Daniel Steven Leezer, age 61, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born May 25, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Woodrow Wilson and Violet Mae (Miller) Leezer.
On April 8, 1989 in Ferguson, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Anna Marie Knoll. They shared nearly thirty-six years of marriage.
Dan was a graduate of North County Christian School in the class of 1982. He lived in Hazelwood, Ferguson and St. Charles before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1999. He worked as a truck driver for Performance Food (formerly Middendorf Meat Company) for many years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 682.
Dan was a devout Christian man and a faithful member of New Life Church of the Nazarene in Camdenton, Missouri. He was active in most areas of church ministry, helping where there was a need.
He loved being on the lake, especially fishing, skiing, and other fun on the water. He enjoyed playing the piano. He was truly a family man. He loved times spent with this family having game nights, potlucks and barbeques and many family vacations.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Leezer of the home; two daughters, Stacey Phelps and husband Matt of Troy, Missouri and Erin Leezer of Jefferson City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Logan Phelps, Addy Phelps and Jeremiah Phelps; four siblings, Larry Leezer and wife Barbara of Naylor, Missouri, Diana Palacious and husband Stephen of Fenton, Missouri, Melody Leezer of St. Peters Missouri and Robyn Low and husband Jeff of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers, Woody Leezer, Tarry Leezer and Tim Leezer.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at New Life Church of the Nazarene in Camdenton, Missouri. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton.
A second service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Ferguson Church of the Nazarene, 1309 N. Elizabeth Ave., Ferguson, Missouri. Light refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall prior to the service.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 25, 2025 in the St. Louis area. Details will be announced later.
