In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Ryan Andrew Longshore, EmmaLynn Elizabeth Longshore and Olivia Ann Longshore; siblings, Brian Longshore (Sonia), Kelly Queedens (Garrin), Corey James Longshore and Jordon Karl Longshore (Kristi); nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Karl Mair, Jr., and a grandmother, Barbara Evans McCown.
Daniel was a devoted father, loving and caring son, brother and uncle. Daniel was a talented cabinet maker, a master at his craft. Daniel's first love was his children, spending time with them and making memories. Daniel's second love was fishing. If there was a pole and a puddle of water with a chance for a fish, Daniel was there.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. Family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 12:00 pm.
