Daniel Walter Mioduszewski

Daniel Mioduszewsi, age 80, of Rio Communities, New Mexico, passed away on July 9, 2022. Daniel was born August 7, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to Walter and Emily Mioduszewski. He has one younger brother, Jerry Mioduszewski. Dan met his wife, Carol Fey, at Penn State University marrying her September 10, 1966. They had 56 happy years together. They had two daughters, Christine and Amy, and one son, Luke. Dan acquired his PhD in physics at Penn State University and taught at Lawrence Technological University his entire career. He enjoyed teaching, music, singing in the church choir, participating in a ham radio club and traveling. Dan was actively involved at Gesu Church in Detroit before moving to New Mexico 12 years ago to be closer to his grandchildren. He had a wonderful boisterous laugh everyone recognized. Every year during the holiday season he would let his beard grow out, because he loved being mistaken for Santa Claus. He is survived by his wife, Carol Mioduszewski, his brother, Jerry Mioduszewski and wife Jennifer, two daughters, Christine and Amy, son, Luke, son-in-law, Ralph, five grandchildren, Jessica, Tristan, Ben, Adrian and Zoe. And a great grandchild on the way, Malina. We will miss you tremendously and will see you again in heaven some day. Love you. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 10:00 am at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. A Funeral Mass will take place at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
