On July 3, 1986, Dan met the love of his life, Christine. They were married on August 23,1986. They formed a good family with Chris’ son and daughter and Dan’s son and daughter. Dan adopted Chris’ son, David Rodriguez, and David considered Dan to be his dad.

In addition to being a loving and supportive husband, Dan was a great father and grandfather. He loved his family very much. He was a good friend to many people. Many friends of his oldest grandson, Kyle, called Dan “Grandpa”. He was kind and attentive to all.
