Daniel (Dano) John Reppard, 57, of Hillcrest, NY passed away from a sudden illness on April 28, 2022. Dano will be remembered for his devotion to his family and friends, his unending kindness and humor. Dano was born on March 30, 1965 in Binghamton, NY. He was a resident of Hillcrest, NY for over 30 years. He is survived by his two sons: Daniel Ryan Reppard (Giana Colavito) of Norwalk, CT and Maxwell James Reppard (Lilian Shelley) of Binghamton, NY. Dano is also survived by his family: Chuck (Sally) Reppard of Greene, NY, Stephen Reppard of Endwell, NY and their sister Lisa Reppard of Binghamton, NY. First and foremost, Dano loved and lived for his boys. He was extremely proud of the men they have become. His family and friends knew only too well that he would be there in an instant, always willing to help with whatever was needed. Dano always saw the good in people and never allowed you to speak ill of others. There are countless wonderful memories of Dano that will bring laughter and a smile to those who knew him. He has had a long lasting impression on his Hillcrest community and his loss is far reaching. He may not come through your door again but he will be forever in your hearts. Growing up, Dano spent time in the Boy Scouts and worked at Guiseppes in Chenango Bridge. Dano was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School Class of 1983. He went on to BCC for degrees in Accounting and Business but made his living as a plumber. He was a member of the Plumber and PipeFitters Local 112 since 1989 and was a licensed Master Plumber. Dano worked with several plumbing and mechanical companies but the majority of his plumbing career was with his United Plumbing and Heating family since 1992. Dano is predeceased by his sister Sue (Reppard) Ingraham, his parents Melvin Reppard and Edith (Finsel) Reppard, and his grandparents Dan and Hazel Reppard and Elmer and Marie Finsel. He has now joined his sister Sue, bringing her an Iced Coffee and she will say to him "Danny I got one quick question". He also joins his friend Becca to make her laugh and watch over their loved ones together. The family would like to thank Wilson Hospital ICU and Palliative Care teams for their outstanding care of Dano. The family will hold a celebration of life this summer, date to be determined. Because of his love for his Hillcrest community, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Dano's honor to the Hillcrest Civic Association at P.O. Box 363, Chenango Bridge, NY 13745.
