Daniel Francis Spieker

Daniel Francis Spieker was born on October 22, 1948 to Edward and Frances Spieker. He was born in Alexandria, Minnesota and passed away unexpectedly in Arizona on May 24, 2022. Daniel was an outdoorsman and enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and camping, as well as woodworking; he and his wife Cheri would enjoy the colder months in Arizona. When Daniel was fishing or camping, he enjoyed spending time at his brother's home near Lake of the Woods in Minnesota. Daniel is survived by his wife Cheri, daughter Dana Galbraith, step-children Joseph Justin, Jessica VanTighen, Andrea Justin, Jonathan Justin, as well as his grandchildren Mary Galbraith-Spieker and Michael McNally, step-grandchildren Alex and Zoe VanTighen, and great-grandchildren Brody and Rylee McNally; he is also survived by his many siblings, four sisters and two brothers. There will be a memorial service held at Week's Dryer Mortuary on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 1pm to 5pm and an inurnment at Fir Lane Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
