Daniel A. "Danny" Toro, 65, of Amsterdam passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY with his loving family by his side.
He was born on August 28, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to Porfirio Toro and Alida Velez.
Daniel attended school for a time before entering the workforce. He had a long and accomplished career in security, working for a number of companies throughout the country. He was most recently employed by Wisconsin Public Safety Agency in Milwaukee, WI as Deputy Chief.
He is survived by the love of his life, Jessica Casiano, children: Nilka Santana, Rose Santana, Jessimar Santana, Christian Santana, Daniel Jr Toro and Daniela Toro as well as his Grandchildren: Niljayka, Joanilee, Nishkalee, Anna, Jayden, Jesliany, Avan, Ryant, Elaya, Connor J., and nephews.
In keeping with Daniel's requests there will be no formal services at this time.
