Daniel Wiskus Obituary

Daniel was born on August 30, 1944, son of Bernard and Malinda (Maiers) Wiskus.
Dan began working as a tractor mechanic in 1965. In 1983, he began Wiskus Tractor Service.
He enjoyed volunteering at Mercy for 20 years.
Dan was an accomplished self-taught woodworker. The pieces of furniture he made were beautiful.
Dan is survived by his wife, Linda Wiskus; two children, Michael Wiskus and Jennifer (Patrick) Wiskus-Nester; two grandchildren, Greta and Micah Wiskus; siblings, William (Eileen) Wiskus, David (Loretta) Wiskus, Ronald (Monica) Wiskus, Merlin (Sharon) Wiskus, Mary Arnold and Alan (Jeannie) Wiskus; and his sister-in-law, Barb Wiskus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, John; his brother-in-law, Loras Arnold; and his nephew, Jim Arnold.
The Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque and the staff at Luther Manor Grand Meadows for their care of Daniel.
