I am Tracy Witherington's daughter from Camden. I met some of the Locust Bayou Witheringtons at Daddy's visitation and have since e-mailed someone briefly. I feel a kinship with you and want to add my name to the condolences. Would love to hear from you and learn more about that part of my family.

I send my deepest sympathy to Claudia and Children in the passing of Bob Witherington. My name is Jerry Johnson, I got to know Bob really well when I was employed at Witherington Brothers Pan-Am Service station in Bastrop. Raymond and Pete and Bob may have also been part owner for a while, nevertheless we became friends and Bob will be sorley missed. But I am sure he is in a much better place. I am also a brother to Sherman Johnson who was your neighbor on Highland Street in Bastrop. May God's Blessings be with you and family.

My deepest sympathy to each of you. My Mother, Mary Helen Gresham Thurber was Jonnie's age and had gone to school together and were friends. She knew Bob and all their family. I was a year older than David Coston and knew Nell and Footsie. Dana and Dawn were younger than me but I remember them from grade school years ago.

Dear Claudia, Dawn, Dana, Judy - I'm sorry to hear of your loss - Bob was a wonderful man - we have so many photos of him with dad and the Furr boys. Lots of memories of good times - laughter! I'm sure there's a major reunion going on right now with Bob's family and I bet the Furr boys have a fishin' pole waiting for him. Take care of each other - love,

Aunt Claudia and Girls, I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob. He was such a hoot! He had the best disposition and was always smiling! He was someone you just loved to be around.
I know you will miss him so much, but you must have so many, many good memories of time spent with him.
I am thinking of all of you during this sad time.

I was always thinking there would be more time and I would come visit more. I wish I had. Mrs Claudia, you and Mr Bob were some of the best people to work for all those years ago.
I loved Mr Bob's stroy telling, and his jokes that he had such a hard time telling because he was laughing so hard thinking about the punch line.
Faith and Krystal, I am so honored to have always been treated like family and have been your Aunt Patsy. Y'all know you can call me anytime you need to.
My heart and prayers are with you Judy and with each of you that loved Mr Bob. Let me know if I can do anything.
