Daniel R Wrobel, formerly in Deansboro, New York, passed away at his home in Canal Winchester on April 6th, 2024. After a brief illness with his daughter Kathy Ashcraft who lovingly cared for him since June of 2023. 
Dan was born on June 26th in 1937 to Frank and Helen Wrobel in Waterville, New York. He graduated from Waterville Central School on December 15th, 1956. Dan was united in marriage to Edie Pfohl, who passed away on July 17th, 2021. 

Dan was employed by Grand Union until retirement in 1999. In his younger years he enjoyed playing tennis and bowling. 

Dan is survived by a son, Daniel Wrobel Jr (Susie) who resides in Louisville, Kentucky. Daughters, Kathy Ashcraft in Canal Winchester, Ohio, Deborah Wrobel (Keith Miner) in Waterville, New York, Son in law, Gary Mlasgar, in Eaton, New York, Former Daughter in law, Rita Foley (mother of Brandon) who resides in Washington Mills, New York. Grandchildren, Brandon Wrobel (Courtney), Nicholas Roberts (Lindsey), Cheri Faries (Bryce), and Amanda Roberts (Anthony). Great grandchildren, Thea Denny, Izabella Skye Elaine (Coleman), Gage, Liam and Keaton Roberts, Alexis Donaldson, and Serena and Elizabeth Williams. 

Proceeded in death by his parents, wife Edie, daughter Cindy Mlasgar, Brothers, Ernest Chabot and Edward Wrobel, Sisters, Ann Belowich, Rosemary O'Brien and Eleanor Ketcham, sister in law, Evelyn Courchsene, Ester Grant and son in law, Richard Ashcraft.

Funeral Services are entrusted to Families First at Edwards  at 1166 Parsons Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43206 and R.P Hientz Funeral Home Inc. at 1517 Whitesboro Street, Utica, New York 13502.
Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. 
Interment will be held at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
