Eileen Ann Wrobel, passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at home on Friday, September 5th, 2025, at the age of 88.

Eileen was born on January 18th, 1937, in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of Earl and
Ella Mae Smith.

Eileen lived a full and generous life devoted to family, tradition and simple joys of everyday living, like gardening, baking and crafts. She graduated from Walton High School, Bronx, NY. She worked for a short while at Union Carbide in the secretary pool. After marrying Leo Wrobel who predeceased her, she moved to Hamptonburgh, NY where together they built a loving home and raised their family.

She is survived by her children, Richard Wrobel and Linda Shute (Lyle) ; Grandchildren, Melissa Barnao (David), Justin Wrobel, Richard Wrobel (Jen), Lyle Jr, Stephen and Jennifer Shute. She was blessed to have 5 great grandchildren: Audrey, Harper, Elise, Henry and Samantha Wrobel
She is also survived by her brother Robert Smith and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and burial celebrating her life will be at Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY.

Arrangements are under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home.
