Dann James Lobsinger passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 71, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Palos Park, after struggling for 12 years with Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. He fought his disease with uncomplaining dignity.

Dann was a loving father to his two daughters, Megan (Teddy) and Meredith (Joe), and celebrated 47 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Gail Lobsinger. Oldest son of the late Margaret Lobsinger (Sweenie) and Donn Lobsinger, he was the eldest brother to sister Peggy (Bill Frain) and brother Mark (Cheryl Lobsinger), and his two half-sisters Bridget and Kitty. He was a loving uncle and devoted grandpa to his grandkids, Margot, Aggie, Elliot, and Nora.

Dann was a friend to any and everyone; no person who shared a conversation with Dann was a stranger. He knew how to draw people out, and he cared so much about the details of their lives. He was fun, and goofy, and kind. To have known Dann was a blessing.

Visitation Sunday, November 12 from 2 pm until 7 pm at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights.
