Danny Eugene Clevenger, affectionately known as Dan, was born on October 21, 1949, in Ashland, Kentucky. He began his educational journey at St. Albans High School, graduating in class of 1967, before continuing his studies at Franklin University. Dan's dedication to his career was evident in his work at Krogers, where he was involved in construction engineering, along with his self-employment developing commercial real estate.

Dan had a distinctive personality marked by a dry sense of humor. Though not overly social, those who knew him appreciated his easygoing nature and warm spirit. He found joy in starting new hobbies, investing time and passion into everything he pursued. A talented guitar player, Dan also indulged in riding Harleys and embraced his love for his toys, bringing a unique enthusiasm to his interests.

A devoted family man, Dan took great pride in his children, whom he deeply loved. His boys were not only a significant part of his life but also the source of much joy. He also cherished the companionship of his dogs and created beautiful memories traveling with his soulmate, Barbara Ann Clevenger. The bond they shared was one of love and partnership, highlighting a life spent in harmony and adventure.

Dan is survived by Barbara Ann Clevenger, his loving soulmate; his sons, Danny Eugene Clevenger, Jr. and Charles Michael Clevenger (Michelle); grandchildren; Carmen, Cooper, and Mason and his sister, Cheryl Clevenger Spangel (Ned).

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Marion Clevenger, and his mother, Gertrude Clevenger. Danny Eugene Clevenger’s legacy lives on through the love of his family and the memories shared with all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed.
