Danny Wayne Coleman

Danny Wayne Coleman, who resided in Barling, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on April 12, 1941, in Fort Smith to the late Walton E. Coleman and Lema A. (Fox) Coleman. He was 80 years old. He was preceded in death by a son, Duane Coleman and his parents.
Danny served in the United States Army, was a retired railroad engineer, and of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 17th at Haven Heights Baptist Church in Fort Smith, with Rev. Rob McNamara officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by four sons, Scott Coleman of Frisco, Texas, Chad Coleman of Edmond, Oklahoma, John Coleman of Fort Smith, and Jacob Coleman of Fort Smith; two brothers, Fred Coleman of Fort Smith and Larry Coleman of Batesville; and eleven grandchildren.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
