Danny Davis, age 68 of Kingsford Heights, IN passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
Danny was born on March 30, 1955 in Michigan City, Indiana to John Davis and Louise (Lowder) Gaddis who preceded him in death.
Danny is survived by his children: Jason, DJ (Jessica), Melissa, Jodie, and Elizabeth Davis; step son: Red Wilson and bonus son: Scott Zilinger; sisters: Linda (Alan) Gaddis, Tina (Jose Arteaga­) Davis, Lois (Carl) Spencer, Theresa Holmes, and Gloria (Tim) Halfacre; brothers: John "Jay" (Cathy) Davis and Jimmy Davis; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; step mother: Carol Davis; and a host of loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his step-son: Kurt Wilson; sister: Baby Shirley; grandsons: JD Wilson and ; and best friend: Bob Landess.
Danny retired from Weil Mclain with 25 years as a Forklift Operator. He was a very loving and special Dad, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. Danny was an avid fisherman, he loved camping, loved his country and gospel music. He had an amazing sense of humor like no other. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his kids and his grandbabies.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN 46360 with Pastor Mike Harrell of the Healing Place in Chesterton, IN officiating.
