Mr. Holden was the son of the late Grady and Edna Catherine Haynes Holden. He was a U S Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Holden; sisters, June Holden Helton and Jewell Holden Allison and brother, Thomas Holden.
He is survived by two daughters, Melanie Holden of Clearwater, FL and Laura Holden of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Zachary Holden and his wife, Mariana of St. Petersburg, FL and Kamran Zafar of Tampa, FL; two stepdaughters and several step grandchildren.
