Danny Lee Pischke, known to most as "Danny," passed away at his home in Cromwell on Sunday, April 21, 2024. He was born in Goshen on May 11, 1959 to Kenneth and Donna (Reed) Pischke. Danny spent most of his professional years as a truck driver and was also proud to have owned his own company at one time - MTL Transport.
Growing up in the Syracuse area, Danny attended school at Wawasee. He had a reputation for being stubborn and having no filter when it came to telling things like they were. His hobbies included fishing, camping, working on engines, and trying his luck at the casino. Danny rarely knew a stranger loved his dog, Drama, who passed away recently. Also preceding him in passing are his parents, Kenneth and Donna Pischke; a wife, Linda Pischke and his in-laws: Clair & Phyllis Archer.
Those who survive with memories of Danny include: his loving wife, Teri Coverstone, and his children: Daniel (Cat) Shafer of Arkansas, Denny (Latasha) Pischke of Arkansas, Tina (Tim) Gable of South Whitley, David (Christina) Altimus of Wawaka, Keesha (Crick) Reed of Kendallville, Jennifer Herrick of Syracuse, and Dusty (Eric) Pischke of Kendallville. He is also survived by two sisters: Annette Ratcliff and Ellenora (Sara Wood) Young; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Denny Archer.
