Mary Pischke Obituary
Mary Pischke, age 81, of Montello, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. She was born on September 4, 1942, in the township of Mecan, a daughter of William and Alice (Prieve) Otto.
Mary was a graduate of Montello High School. On July 1, 1961, she married Daniel Pischke. They shared 53 years of marriage before Dan's passing on March 14, 2015. For many years, Mary was employed as a cookie packer for Ripon Good Cookies in Ripon. In her younger years, she enjoyed helping her husband Dan on the farm, gardening. The many hobbies she enjoyed were playing cards, fishing, feeding the birds, bingo, bowling, going to rummage sales, polka dancing, and tending to her pets and horses. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.
Those Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory are her 3 children, Sherri (Gary) Durkee of Ripon, WI, David Pischke of Oak Creek, WI, Duane Pischke of Burnett, WI; 6 grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley) Durkee, Chad (Kate) Durkee, Carissa (Jake) Miller; Heather (fiancé, John) Pischke, Stephanie Pischke; Dylan Pischke; 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Darlene (Jeff) Schultz; brother, Donald Otto; special nephew, Jon Otto; many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Otto; 4 siblings and daughter-in-law, Diane Pischke.
