I have known SGM Richards since he was a SSG (23 years). From what I remember, he was a good NCO and a good man, and he didn't deserve this horrible fate. A few years ago, the last time I saw him, I asked him permission to give him a hug, and I'm glad that I did.

HANDS DOWN THE GREATEST CSGM EVER SEEN,FOREVER & ALWAYS BIG UNK SGM RICHARDS FROM SGT POULSON 215 BSB 3ABCT FORT HOOD TEXAS (my last day in uniform 15 mins before this photo at the motor pool he said Poulson watch this and locked every NCO and soldier of 215th at parade rest and verbally challenged them army style with choice words made me want to stay in longer lol that's what I was used to lol )
