Danny Villano, 42, of East Wareham, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with heart disease on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Caitlin Sundin Villano.
Born May 24, 1983 in Brockton, he was the son of Gerard J. Villano and his wife Janet and Sharon Braddock Maddox. Raised in Osterville, he graduated from Barnstable High School. Danny then served proudly in the United States Air Force.
Danny was a very talented carpenter, with an eye for detail. He specialized in framing and finish work.
Danny was known for being a soft spoken man who was always there if someone needed him and was a fighter who never gave up and wanted to live.
He enjoyed fishing, his truck, his dog, cooking, hiking, the beach, nature walks in the woods, swimming in ponds, catching turtles, and the mountains in New Hampshire and especially being with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Daniel Villano, Arianna Villano and Ellison Heller; his siblings Christopher Villano, Tara Braddock and Douglas Braddock; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and especially his best friend, Adam, who he knew since they were kids.
Following cremation, a memorial gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., (Rt105) Lakeville on Wednesday, June 25th from 9:00AM-11:30AM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the American Heart Association or the Disabled American Veterans.
