Danuta Orlow passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on May 29, 1940, in Warsaw, Poland, Danuta's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit, as well as her own love and wisdom. She embraced her journey on Earth with a thoughtful heart and a nurturing soul, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Danuta's life was rich with experiences that shaped her into the extraordinary person we cherished. She had a deep love for traveling, always eager to explore new places and embrace the beauty the world had to offer. Yet, no matter where her adventures took her, family was always at the heart of her life. She was unfailingly present for her loved ones, making countless sacrifices to ensure their happiness and well-being. Her devotion, generosity, and selflessness created a lasting example of what it means to love unconditionally.
She loved her family above all. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Michael Orlow, a nurturing mother to her daughter, Anna Kedryna, a beloved sister to Lidia Siennicka, and a caring sister-in-law to Lidia's husband, Marek Siennicki. She was also an adoring grandmother to Bella and Matt Kedryna, a beloved aunt to her niece, Kasia Siennicka, and a loving mother-in-law to Anna's husband, Tom Kedryna. Danuta's love was a force that connected and uplifted her family, creating an unbreakable bond that will continue to thrive in her absence. Every home she stepped into was filled with warmth and compassion. Her love knew no boundaries.
As we bid farewell to Danuta, let us carry forward the light she has instilled in our hearts. Let us honor her by living as she did, with love, wisdom, and thoughtfulness at the forefront of our actions. Her spirit will forever be a guiding star in the lives she has touched, and her story a cherished chapter in the book of our shared humanity. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at St. Cyril and Methodius Church, followed by a Mass at 9:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at St. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, Keepataw Dr, in Lemont, Illinois.

Zycie Danuty bylo bogate w doswiadczenia, które uksztaltowaly ja w niezwykla osobe, która cenilismy. Miala gleboka milosc do podrózy, zawsze chetna do odkrywania nowych miejsc i podziwiania piekna, jakie oferowal swiat. Jednak niezaleznie od tego, dokad zaprowadzily ja przygody, rodzina zawsze byla w centrum jej zycia. Niezawodnie byla obecna dla swoich bliskich, ponoszac niezliczone poswiecenia, aby zapewnic im szczescie i dobrobyt. Jej oddanie, hojnosc i bezinteresownosc stworzyly trwaly przyklad tego, co znaczy kochac bezwarunkowo.
Kochala swoja rodzine ponad wszystko. Byla kochajaca zona swojego meza, Michala Orlow, troskliwa matka swojej córki, Anny Kedryny, ukochana siostra Lidii Siennickiej i troskliwa bratowa Marka Siennickiego. Byla takze kochajaca babcia Beluni i Maciusia Kedryna, ukochana ciocia swojej siostrzenicy, Kasi Siennickiej, i kochajaca tesciowa meza Anny, Tomka Kedryny. Milosc Danuty byla sila, która laczyla i podnosila na duchu jej rodzine, tworzac nierozerwalna wiez, która bedzie sie rozwijac pomimo jej nieobecnosci. Kazdy dom, do którego wchodzila, byl pelen ciepla i wspólczucia. Jej milosc nie znala granic.
Zegnajac Danute, niesmy dalej swiatlo, które zaszczepila w naszych sercach. Uczcijmy ja, zyjac tak jak ona, z miloscia, madroscia i troskliwoscia na czele naszych dzialan. Jej duch na zawsze bedzie gwiazda przewodnia w zyciu osób, których dotknela, a jej historia cennym rozdzialem w ksiedze naszego wspólnego czlowieczenstwa. Danuty Orlow bedzie nam bardzo brakowac, ale nadal bedziemy ja kochac i pamietac jako silna i kochajaca osobe, jaka byla.
