Stanislaw Bobak Obituary

Stanislaw "Stan" Bobak (Kolecek), a devoted family man and master craftsman with a free spirit, passed away in Chicago Ridge on October 4, 2025, at the age of 51. Born in Szaflary, Poland on July 14, 1974, his life was a testament to building a world of love for his family and leaving beauty in his wake.
Stan's memory will be forever cherished by his beloved wife, Dorothy, and their treasured sons, Michael and Matthew. He was the much-loved son of Maria Bobak and the late Jan Bobak, and a supportive and loyal brother to Andrzej (Elzbieta) Bobak. Stan was also held dear by his parents-in-law, Maria and Józef Zuwala, his brother-in-law, Steve (Robin) Zuwala, and his nephew and niece, Lucas and Emily Bobak. He leaves behind a close-knit circle of family and friends who will deeply miss the warmth and steadfast presence he brought into their lives.
With a visionary mind and hands that could mend or build anything, Stan saw potential where others saw none. He poured his talent into restoring properties, transforming them into beautiful homes where families could create their own memories. This passion for creating was matched only by his love for the open road on his Harley Davidson, a symbol of an adventurous heart.
Above all, Stan was a family man. His love for his wife and boys was boundless, and he considered them his greatest achievement. His brother was not just a sibling but his closest confident, and the unshakable bond they shared was a source of mutual strength through all of life's challenges and triumphs. To know Stan was to know a kind and gentle soul whose empathy touched everyone he met. His infectious laugh and generous spirit will be etched in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to call him family or friend.
As we say goodbye, we celebrate the legacy Stan leaves behind-a legacy of unwavering love, quiet determination, and the courage to build the life you dream of. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, the integrity of his work, and the open road he loved to travel. Rest in peace, dear Stan.
