Freck Funeral ChapelLarry J. Bobak, age 80, resident of Northwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on September 22, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late John and Betty June (Webb) Bobak.
He attended Rossford High School, where he graduated in 1963. Larry was a dedicated worker, working in production for Chrysler for 31 years until his retirement in 1999. His commitment to serving his country was evident during his time in the United States Army, reflecting the values of honor and dedication that he held with him.
Larry was a cherished member of Zion Lutheran Church in Latchey, Ohio, where he contributed to the church's warmth and fellowship. He enjoyed hunting and was a classic car enthusiast. His love for classic cars led him to collect various vehicles and attend numerous car shows, where he enjoyed sharing his hobby.
Larry’s love will forever be missed by those who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his sons, Steve Bobak and Jeff Bobak; and grandson, Devon Bobak.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn (Klavinger) Bobak.
Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio, 43616, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Larry’s funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E River Rd, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
