Marilyn Bobak Obituary
Marilyn K. Bobak, age 80, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the Landings of Oregon. She was born on April 6, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Mary Ellen (Goodman) Klavinger. Marilyn was a 1963 graduate of Lake High School. She married her husband, Larry on September 2, 1967. Marilyn was the owner of Walnut Hills Beauty Shop which she ran for over 30 years. Marilyn was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she volunteered for many church activities. In her spare time, Marilyn enjoyed going to car shows with her husband and watching her grandson play hockey. She will be dearly missed.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Larry Bobak; sons, Steve Bobak and Jeff Bobak; grandson, Devon Bobak; and her siblings, Betty Lou Miller, and Dale (Sondra) Klavinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Frank Klavinger Jr.; and brother-in-law, Jim Miller.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
