Darla Jean Weber, age 79, of Ripon, formerly of Berlin, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab in Ripon.
She was born December 28, 1945, in New London, WI, the daughter of Bert and Margaret Blackburn Arthurs. Darla attended Wautoma High School. On August 20, 2005, she was united in marriage to Donald Weber at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Big Mecan.
In addition to cleaning homes, Darla worked as a custodian for 13 years at Berlin Memorial Hospital, plus various other locations in the area, including Berlin Chapman Co., Berlin Laundry, Butch's Bakery, Grace English Lutheran Church, Lake States Footwear, Realist and Rippin Good Cookie. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon.
She is survived by her son, Darrin Schultz; brother and sisters, Peter (Melanie) Arthurs, Bonnie Loring, Candy Marcin and Tammy Arthurs; and friend and caretaker, Nicole. Darla was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harold Schultz, Fred Pick Jr. and Donald Weber; son, Brad Schultz; sister, Delores (Ron) Boy; and niece, Erin Arthurs.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Michael Sheppard officiating. Interment will be in Big Mecan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
