Funeral Services at First Baptist Church, Temple, OK, Friday, September 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Kevin Simpson officiating with burial in the Temple Cemetery. Viewing at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Darlene Williams Cunnigan was born to Verlie Verdell and Martha Ruth (Gibson) Williams on May 14, 1962 in Dallas, TX and departed this life on September 15, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 63 years, 4 months, and 1 day.

Darlene grew up in Dallas and Irving, TX, attending Irving High School.

She worked at Branders, Bar ‘S’, and Goodyear. She enjoyed planting and caring for her plants and flowers, as well as fishing and playing cards and dominoes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Pevey and Verlie Williams; a sister, Gail Anderson; and a step-brother, Keith Salazar.

She is survived by her step-dad, John Salazar of Hastings, OK; 3 sons, Brian Williams and Jessica of Yukon, OK, Michael Carr of Leesburg, FL, and Chance Williams of Yukon, OK; a daughter, Ashley Carter of San Antonio, TX; 2 sisters, Sherri Renschen and Terrie Russell both of Lawton, OK; a brother, Donald Williams of Texas; 3 grandsons, Sonny Williams of Yukon, OK, Malikeh Williams of San Antonio, TX, and Cairo Salinas of San Antonio, TX; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins
