Darlene Gahr

Darlene (Snyder) Gahr, 70, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Melvin Gahr, entered into eternal rest at home with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Haskel and Rosemarie (Caron) Snyder, born in Hartford on May 18, 1951. Darlene was a hairstylist for many years, working for several salons throughout her career. She enjoyed traveling to warm sunny beach destinations with family as well as road trips to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She will be remembered for her feisty personality, and her love of cats and antiques. Darlene will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Darlene is survived by her children, Jason Gahr and his wife Stacy of Windsor Locks, and Caron Gahr of Enfield; and her grandchildren, Mathena Rossa-Gahr and Mackenzie DeMinico. She also leaves behind her brother Lee Snyder and his wife Cheryl of FL; her sisters, Diane LaPlante and her husband Paul of MA, Deena Rollet and her husband Jack of Suffield, Dawn Chapman and her husband Steve of MA, and many nieces and nephews.
