Darrel Rensberger

Darrel Rensberger of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the age of 64.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Darrel was born on January 17, 1961, to Wilfred "Willie" Morris Rensberger and Lorretta B. (Sutherlin) Veenstra. Darrel married the love of his life, Tina Ann Ulmer-Kinzer, on October 10, 1981. They shared 43 years of marriage together, were blessed with raising their two daughters, and experienced the joy of becoming grandparents.
Darrel worked as a machinist at Paragon Medical in Pierceton, Indiana retiring in 2021. For many years he served on the Atwood Volunteer Fire Department. He LOVED his family and was very proud of his daughters and grandkids. Always a proud dad, supporting his girls in everything they did, he never missed an event they were involved in. He even bought a truck specifically to pull band equipment for his daughter. Darrel enjoyed spending time outdoors on numerous camping trips with his family where he made sure they all had some quality-time fishing. He enjoyed camping and visiting with all of his friends in their Camping Club for the last 20 years. He was an avid woodworker, and being the hands-on dad he was, also taught his daughters. Darrel simply enjoyed spending time with his family, holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, games, events.he was there! He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and a wonderful friend.
Darrel will be dearly missed and forever loved by his wife, Tina Ann Rensberger (Warsaw, IN); two daughters, Heather (Shaun) Irwin (Peru, IN); Helena Kreft (Warsaw, IN); four grandchildren, Eli, Kathrine, Em and Faye; and his brother, Carl Rensberger (Akron, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred "Willie' Rensberger on July 15, 2022, and his mother, Loretta B. Veenstra on December 29, 2024.
Darrel's life will be celebrated with a memorial gathering from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be directed to Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Inc., 102 East Market Street, Warsaw, IN 46580..to be designated to the "Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund".
