Surrounded by his family, Darrell Keith Hill passed away on April 13, 2024. Darrell was a man of the Lord who loved Jesus and his family. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his camps in Clinton and on the Tangipahoa River. Although his passion was hunting and fishing, his true joy came from his family.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hill; children, Shelley Davis and husband Rickey, Kerrie Sbisa and husband Steven, Melissa Varnado and husband Shane, John Wascom and wife Brandi. His true joy came from his grandchildren, Piper Wascom, Lexie Wascom, Brinley Varnado, Steven Sbisa Jr., and Landry Varnado. He is also survived by siblings Terry Hill, Julie Lester and husband Keith, Jeffrey Hill and wife Michelle, Lisa Hill; and nephews Jeffrey Hill Jr. and wife Tricia, and Lucas Hill and wife Stephanie, and several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Julius and Shirley Hill.
Darrell was a devoted Christian and family man and will be missed by all that were blessed to know him.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation from the Trinity Baptist Church, 42062 Pumpkin Center Rd., Hammond, LA. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
