Darrell Newman Jr. Obituary
Darrell was a hardworking truck driver who adored his family beyond measure, especially his grandchildren. With a great sense of humor and a willingness to lend a helping hand, he touched the lives of many. His passion for anything with a motor was well-known, and he was always ready to assist those in need.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife Angela Newman, son Michael Newman, daughters Misty Carmela, Brittney Heard and her husband Josh, Courtney Philpott and her husband Scott, and his beloved grandchildren, Ashlyn, Carter, Everlee, Casey, Weston, Jeremiah, Troy, Ava, Isabella and Diego.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, grandchild, Carter and sister Tina Gwen Taylor.
In celebration of Darrell's life, a funeral service will be held on June 13, 2024 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. Family and friends are invited to join together to commemorate the life of a remarkable man who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Darrell will be deeply missed but will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
