Darryl Crump, 63 of Talladega passed away August 19, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday August 23, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with burial in Wyatt Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday August 22, at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
Darryl was a member of Refuge Baptist Church in Lincoln. He had a love for golfing, camping, horseback riding.You have never seen a man so crazy about "Auburn Football" like Darryl. His biggest love was for his family. Before he passed, he had the honor of meeting his beautiful granddaughter Zayda, which always brought a smile to his face.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lula Crump, brothers Bobby Crump and Bruce Wetuski.
Darryl is survived by his loving wife Kim Crump, daughter Josie (Lucy) Crump, sons Tyler (Dana) Crump, Adam (Crystal) Crump, Adam (Morgan) Strong, sisters Carrie (Dennis) Nunnelly, Joyce Reaves, Lisa (Larry) Williams, brothers Tommy (Kim) Wetuski, David (Carol) Wetuski, Phillip Crump, Pete (Jan) Singleton, one granddaughter and twelve grandsons who affectingly called him "Big Deddy", mother-in-law Beckie Watson (Sammy Gidley) and father-in law, Raymond (Trish) Wyatt.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Tekoma Crump, Connor Crump, Jeff Crump, Parker Crump, Dewayne Bean, and Ray McBrunette. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Crump, Hayden Crump, Jayden Crump, Adrian Crump, Nathan Crump, Jared Horton, Steve Smith, Duane Mitchell, Ty Payne, Scotty Wallace and Tom Malone.
