Daryl William Sudduth, 77, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at his home. He was born on June 13, 1947 in Londonderry Township to the late William R. and Ruth Isabelle (Gardiner) Sudduth.
Daryl was a graduate of Zane Trace High School. He was an Army Veteran during Vietnam where he was stationed in Korea as a mechanic. After discharge he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Oxford Mining until the time of his retirement. Daryl was a three time cancer survivor. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5356 St. Clairsville. Daryl loved his Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, and NASCAR, he also enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, Daryl was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Lee "Ted" Sudduth.
Daryl is survived by his wife, Sharmayne Sudduth; children, William Sudduth, Julia (James) Wise, Daryl "Richard" Deborah Sudduth, and Rebecca (Malcolm) Roe; stepson, Kevin (Ellen) Criswell; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Mary Lou) Sudduth and Larry Sudduth; sisters, Cheryl (Butch) Winters and Deb (John) Balik; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur babies.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 2-6pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11:00am with Pastor Rodney West officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Daryl's name to an animal rescue of your choice.
