Dascal Hood Obituary

Dascal was retired plant manager from Tri-State Bedding Co. and a faithful member of Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved all who knew him and never met a stranger.
Survivors are his lovely wife of 68 years Joyce Evelyn (Rouse) Hood, two sons Michael Lee Hood (Beverly) and Kelly Scott Hood (Tish) and one daughter Cindy Loraine Hood. One brother Gary Allen Hood (Lynne) and two precious grandchildren Alex Powell (Zach) and Daniel Hood. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday November 22, 2025 at 10:30 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery #2, in Summer Shade, KY immediately following the funeral in Bowling Green.
