David Arrigoni Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 8, 2023.
David John Arrigoni, 58, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on November 6, 2023 in Daytona Beach Florida at Halifax Hospice. He was born on December 23, 1964, in Albany, Georgia, but grew up in Dayton, Ohio. David, was a friendly and positive individual who cared deeply for others. He had a natural ability to connect with people, and his genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. David believed in treating others with the same respect and compassion that he desired for himself, always putting the needs of his loved ones before his own. Despite a challenging childhood, David persevered and pursued higher education. He went to Mad River Junior High & graduated from Stebbins High School in Dayton, Ohio, and went on to earn two degrees, after starting his college at the University of Cincinnati and then graduating from Ohio State University. In 1998, David founded Arrigoni Insurance Agency, in Tallahassee, Florida, which he nurtured and developed into a thriving business. Even after his passing, his wife continues to run the Agency, a testament to the legacy David built.
Outside of his professional endeavors, David had a passion for gardening, cooking, college football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and staying active. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, cherishing each moment shared. His warm and caring nature made him a beloved member of the community, and he was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Arrigoni, his mother, Patricia Arrigoni, and his sisters, Christine Arrigoni, her husband Dane Schaefer, Lynn Arrigoni, and Ann Smith along with her husband, Dale Smith. He also leaves behind his nieces, Laura Huber and Catherine Smith and his nephew Patrick Huber.
He has many Aunts and Uncles and cousins, too numerous to name who are also surviving family members. Not to be forgotten is Pierre, he & his wife's French Bulldog who he loved very much. David was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Pat Kierney.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate David's life will be held at Gendron Funeral Home, located at 135 N Lime Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237 on Saturday, November 25th from 1 pm to 4 pm.
The funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements for this solemn occasion.
David's positive impact and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who mourn his loss.
