David Arthur AuBuchon, 65, of Aurora, Wisc., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025, in his home with his beloved daughter watching over him.
David was born on June 16, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisc., to Vonna Jean Johnson (Schlote) and Phillip T. AuBuchon. He attended Nathan Hale High School and enlisted in the United States Army from 1977 until his honorable discharge in 1979.
David worked in reforestation hand planting trees for the USDA Forest Service for 6 years, where he met his first wife, Rose AuBuchon (Bergstrom). They started Green Tree Forestry Inc. He invested in real estate, dismantling, repurposing, and refurbishing homes. David then worked at Cedar River Lumber Company until they closed their doors. He owned and operated Ecowater Systems for 10 years and worked at Northwoods Manufacturing and Nelson Paint Co., among many other jobs.
David enjoyed a good cup of coffee, baking cookies, watching the birds at the bird feeders, playing the guitar and singing, riding motorcycles, thrifting for that unique find, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with family.

AuBuchon, and their three children: Desmond AuBuchon, Abigail AuBuchon, and Eli AuBuchon; grandchildren Treyton AuBuchon and Madison AuBuchon; his stepmother, Diane AuBuchon; brothers and sisters Michelle (Tim) Terrill, Phil AuBuchon, and Aimee (Don) Brown, Linda (Jeff) Parmann, and Steven (Michelle) Hill; and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris AuBuchon (Eagle), father, Phillip AuBuchon, mother, Vonna Jean Johnson (Schlote), biological father, David Hill (Diane), and niece, Amanda Piatti.
