David Wayne Barksdale, 65, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on August 10, 2022. Born in Beacon, NY on January 5, 1957, he was the son of Ethel Mae Barksdale, who predeceased him. He attended Beacon City Schools. David worked for the Hyde Park School District as a bus driver. He is survived by his siblings; Melody Barksdale of Kingston, NY, Roger Barksdale of Waterbury, CT and Sterling Barksdale of Poughkeepsie, NY, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother William A. Barksdale, his two sisters Marguerite Wright and Arlene Wimberly, as well as his maternal grandparents Lorenzo and Mary Connely Barksdale. Services are private and at the convenience of the Family.
