David Wayne Barnes, 63, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024. He was born on November 29, 1960, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to the late Basil and Marion (Dunton) Barnes.
David was an avid outdoorsman with a deep passion for nature. He found solace and joy in activities such as fishing, hiking, and biking, always seeking the peace that the outdoors offered. His love for adventure was matched only by his kind, compassionate spirit. David had an infectious optimism, always seeing the best in people and situations, and his calm demeanor and unwavering positivity left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, David is predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Steven Barnes.
He is survived by his loving family, including his brothers William Barnes, James Barnes and his wife Mary Pacheco, Thomas Barnes and his wife Susan, and his sister Kathleen Snow and her husband Scott. David also leaves behind his beloved partner of over 30 years, Maryann Curry, along with her children and grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply. David is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Springbrook Cemetery, 47 Coral St., Mansfield, MA 02048. Family and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements are in the care of Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua."One Memory Lights Another"
