David Bezona Obituary
1939-2025
David Bezona, 86, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025.
He was born February 25, 1939 in Bellevue, Ohio, to Henry and Madge (Gloshen) Bezona.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
David married Brenda Bass on October 11, 2003. She survives of the home.
In his long and varied career, David was a teacher, professional opera singer, music director, and college professor for various schools systems, theaters, opera companies, colleges, and churches.
David enjoyed singing, teaching, genealogy, gardening, history, family, traveling, meeting and talking to people. He also liked basketball (playing, coaching and refereeing), and watching college football.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Nancy Bezona Yaple.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Brenda; and children, Laura Bezona Nelson and John Gilbert Young.
