In Loving Memory of David Lee Birmingham
October 23, 1951 - March 6, 2025
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we honor the life of David Lee Birmingham, a father, grandfather, veteran, friend, and die-hard San Diego Padre's fan.
Born in Lexington,Kentucky, David answered the call to serve his country in the
U.S. Army during the Peacetime and Vietnam era from 1971 to 1975. His dedication was recognized with numerous honors, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm.
He is survived by his beloved son, Josh Birmingham, daughter, Brianna Carol, her loving partner Shawn Flynn, and his treasured grandchildren Bradley, Aubree, and Riley and two sisters, Peggy Pentico, CA and Maurya Lynn, CA. Beyond his family, David found a second home among the cherished friends at Cleary's Sports Bar, where laughter, camaraderie, and lasting memories were shared.
David's kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit touched many lives. As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in the love he gave and the memories we hold dear. A memorial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Rest easy, Dave. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
