David Burris, 66, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2023. David was born on September 29, 1956 in Akron, Ohio, son of the late Kenneth and Julie Burris. He was a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls, graduating from Falls High in 1974. David was an avid fan of all Cleveland sports. He enjoyed playing baseball most of his life, and was later scouted by a Major League team. After his baseball career, he enjoyed bowling and golfing, among other outdoor activities. David had been employed at Sentrics Senior TV for the last 12 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Tom Laubacher, Tony Raggi, and Kenneth (Julie) Boarman.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathy (Boarman) Burris; son, Jason (Angie) Burris; grandchildren, Landon and Kaylee; brothers, Larry (Marianne) and Paul; sisters, Lillian Laubacher and Ann Raggi; brother-in-law, Dan (Sandra) Boarman; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.

Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. All of great times we enjoyed like Friday Copley football, Browns, Euchre and Crown. Friends for more than 50 years Dave was part of a life long brotherhood of friends. RIP Moosh!

My Deepest Condolences to Kathy and Jason. Dave and I were Friends for as long as I can remember.
Although, we grew apart over the past few decades, I will always consider him as my Brother. We shared Great Memories Together.

To The Burris Family, Sorry for your loss, I grew up with Dave through 8 th grade at St Joes and our paths crossed at Senior TV my memory of him will last forever he had a great sense of humor gone too soon
