David J. Cameron

David John Cameron Passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026. He was born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Cameron.

He graduated from Hall High School in 1964. David built a lifelong career in sales, working for Colt Firearms, Pandolfe Flooring, Benson Floorcovering, and BKM Total Office. He then started his own business, New England Floorensics, working as an independent flooring inspector.

The most important thing in David's life was his family. His greatest gift to all who knew him was making sure they never doubted how deeply they were loved. David remained a kind, loving, and generous spirit until the day he passed. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He leaves behind his daughter, Laura Cameron of Springvale, Maine, and her daughters, Meghan and Gillian; and his son, Christopher Cameron of Glastonbury, Connecticut. He is also survived by his devoted life companion, Janice Mancini, and her children and grandchildren of Rhode Island.

David is also survived by his siblings Donald, Brian, Nancy, and Brenda, he was the brother of the late Gail Michaud.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the compassionate nurses and staff at Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Providence, Rhode Island, as well as the staff at Harmony Hospice.
