David Carroll

Mr. James "David" Carroll, age 64 of Plainville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at a local hospital.

He was born on May 3, 1961, to the late Larry Franklin Carroll of LaFayette, GA and the late Sandra Padgett Howard of Plainville, GA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Bobbie Howard of Hubert, NC, his sister, Mandy Carroll, and two brothers, Bruce Carroll and Brad Carroll.

David was a hard worker who brought dedication to various roles throughout his life, spanning a diverse career in the grocery industry, hardwood flooring installation, and manufacturing, before enjoying a well-earned retirement.

David was a dedicated husband to his best friend and love of his life, Regina. He loved life and was always ready to make you laugh with one of his jokes or stories, which may or may not be true, sometimes being embellished in his own funny way.

He loved his family deeply and was extremely proud of his grandchildren, who referred to him as "Papa." He was always up for an adventure and there will never be another man like him. He will be deeply missed.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Regina "Gina" Carroll of Plainville, GA; his two loving daughters, Nicole Pye (Jason) and Brianna Sexon; his dedicated son, Brandon Carroll, all of Miller, GA; a bonus daughter, Brandy Robinson (Ricky); a bonus son, Jason Hall all of Plainville, GA; a special sister and brother-in-law, Steve and Shonda Bowden, of Rome, GA; a special uncle, Bennie Jo McArthur of Summerville, GA; his half-sister, Elena Carroll of LaFayette, GA; his half-brother, Berry Carroll of Chattanooga, TN; his 13 beloved grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 4:00pm at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel. Officiating the service will be Brother Derek Hall and Brother Charles Carney.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel from 2:00pm until service time.
