David Claytor Obituary

take your rest and he answered the call". David proudly served in the United Stated Air Force
from 1983 to 1994 attaining the rank of SSGT, his discharge from the military was due to a
service-related injury. He then went on to work at the Veteran Administration Medical Facility
for several years before retiring,
David leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Roma Holmes Claytor, father Jon Palmer,
children David Claytor and Dominique Holmes, 3 grandchildren, daughter in law, Sibling Daryle
Palmer and sister Djenaba Palmer Whitehead as well as his aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins,
numerous extended family and friends.
David absence will forever be felt, for this a journey we must all take, and each must go alone.

So saddened to hear Dave has passed. I have so many fond memories with him, as my brother in arms, loyal colleague, and my good friend. We shared many laughs, often with Sarge, his service dog, and the many veterans we served , together, in our sacred VA mission. It is my good fortune to have shared part of life´s journey with Dave, my trusted friend who will live forever in my heart. Dave was the absolute best of us. May his memory be a blessing.
