David graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines and lived on the south side many years. In more recent years he lived in Fort Lauderdale. David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William. He is survived by his brother Nick in Germantown, Tennessee and his Fort Lauderdale friend and caretaker Mike Owens. Private arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines.
