David Elliott Crow passed away with his loving wife at his side on Friday, September 27th, 2024 at his home in Howard, Ohio. David was born in Ireland to James and Kay (Elliott) Crow. He married his high school sweetheart Toni (Jackson) 60 years ago on December 22,1963. David attended Akron University for two years for Engineering. He owned the Crows Nest Restaurant for 43 years and the Sidebar restaurant and bar for 25 years in downtown Cleveland. He also owned several smaller businesses. He camped, waterskied snow skied and scuba dived with his family Toni, Kent and Tracy. After he retired he enjoyed working in his workshop making lazy Susan’s, cutting boards and live edge tables He started golfing when he got too old for his other hobbies and golf became his passion. He told Dad jokes to anyone who listened. Everyone loved him and said he was “a really nice guy”. 

David will be missed by his wife Toni, his brother Terry (Diane); eight grandchildren Kelly(Jerry) Bedor, Cory Lower, Leah Crow, Jayson (Kayla) Lower, David Crow, Daniel (Jailyn) Crow, Willow (Nick) Cindric and Katie Vidovic and 10 great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by all three of his children Barbie, Kent and Tracy Crow. His brother Brian(Darlene) Crow and his parents Kay and Jim Crow and his beloved pets Monkey(the cat) and Kiwi(the bird). 

Friends may call Saturday, October 12th, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m at Roberts Funeral Home Mount Vernon Chapel 18260 Coshocton Rd, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43028. Memorial Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Byron George officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice or to your favorite charity Play a game of golf in his memory…remember “life’s a game, golf is serious “.
