David L. Dantos of Raymond, NH, beloved son of Phidias and Beverly Dantos, passed away on July 14th, 2024.
David was born on January 3rd, 1962 and grew up in Andover, MA. He spent his adolescent years frequenting the family businesses including the Andover Spa, the Towne Deli, and the Vermont Hotel Coolidge. As a graduate from Andover High School and the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, David spent the majority of his career working in insurance with a particular talent for environmental claims.
He was an avid photographer, woodworker, plane enthusiast, and Parrot Head. He enjoyed biking, kayaking, roaming the fields of his property, and making plans to build “Davetown."
David is survived by his siblings, Maria Katsaros of Brooklyn, NY and Mark Dantos of Boston, MA, as well as his daughter, Kayla Dantos of Manchester, NH.
He is greeted on the other side by many family and friends, including his loving parents and his best pups, Airway, Sarah, and Emma.
Roads go ever on and on,
Out from the door where it began,
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
Let others follow it who can!
Let them a journey new begin,
But I at least with weary feet,
Will turn towards the lighted inn,
My evening-rest and sleep to meet.
