I always looked forward to chatting with David when we had questions for each other about cases. He never failed to pick up the phone and call, and he taught me so much about the work when I was a new officer. I never got the chance to meet David in person, but his care and professionalism always shone through, and he quickly became a trusted colleague, which says a lot about the way he moved through the world. If his loss is so impactful to colleagues who didn't even work in the same office, I can only imagine how hard it is for his family and friends. Thank you for sharing David with his work family, he will be deeply missed.

Thank you all for your condolences & your messages especially- your kind words & respect would mean the world to him. He was passionate about anything & everything he did. David did things by the book and meticulously , to the annoyance of co-workers & bosses at times I am sure!
My family & I truly appreciate all of the kind words, our hearts ache but hearing that others appreciated him & his knowledge & friendship is heartwarming

I remember meeting Dave his first day at the Boston office and discussing our kids' love of Harry Potter. He was a good friend and sparring partner regarding our work.

May the sound of trumpets and the company of angels escort you into Heaven.
