David J Field

Manchester-David J. Field, 82, passed away peacefully on March 23 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 9, 1933 on the Pike River in Bedford, Quebec, the son of Harry and Alice (Charron) Field. He moved to Manchester at the age of 10. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Keller Companies and retired at the age of 62. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, hunting and fishing, and was an avid Red Sox fan. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Ruth (Wallace) Field, his children: David and wife, Cathy of Brockton, MA, Jonathan and wife, Pat of Campton, NH, Linda Verville and husband, Leon of Loudon, NH, Tracy Feinauer and husband, Mike of Danbury, NH, 2 brothers: Harry Field of Candia, NH and Sydney Field of Methuen, MA, 3 grandchildren: Shaun Moran and wife, Tara of MD, Hannah Verville and Wyatt Feinauer. He was predeceased by Missy and Myron, his hunting companions. Calling hours will be 9-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday Mar. 29 at the Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St., corner of Beech St., followed by a service at 11:00 at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
