David Wayne Frazer, of Stet, died at approximately 9:20 p.m. on November 5, 2020 at North Kansas City Hospital Hospice House.

David was born in Braymer, Missouri on February 20, 1944, to W.H. "Junior" Frazer and Lois Emogene Summers. He married Marilyn Jean Frazer (Peters) on May 23, 1964. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include daughter Jennifer Sue Frazer of Stet, a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Misty Frazer (Young) of Richmond, and son David Brett (Joel) Frazer of Chicago, IL; one grandchild, Hallie Jean Frazer; a sister, Karen McBee (Frazer) of Hardin; Mother-in-law Mary Peters of Polo; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Smith (Peters) of Richmond; Glenda Coats (Peters) of Lexington; and June Bost (Peters) of Polo; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Dawn Frazer; Step-mother Helen Frazer; four brothers-in-law, Paul McBee, Bill Bost, David Coats, and Maurice Smith.

David was a graduate of Stet High School in 1962. He was an excellent athlete in softball, basketball and track, and an active FFA member. He then went on to college at the University of Central Missouri majoring in Agriculture and spent his life working on the family farm.

David was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church and the New Hope Cemetery Board. He served on the Stet School Board. David was a member of the Missouri Hereford Association and was inducted into the hall of fame in 2017. He was also a member of the Missouri Simmental and Angus Associations.

David enjoyed cattle sales and livestock shows. He loved playing and watching sports of all kinds and also liked going to country music shows. He had a lifelong love of doing crossword puzzles. David was a wonderful husband, father, and Papa, and will be dearly missed.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the New Hope Cemetery Association and/or the ALS Association, Mid-America Chapter.

Private family services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, Rev. Dennis Estes to officiate. Inurnment will follow services at New Hope Cemetery, North of Hardin.
