DAVID GALLARDO Obituary
David Gallardo, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2025, at the age of 96, just days shy of his 97th birthday. David was born in Santa Paula, California, on May 23, 1928. He married the love of his life, Mary Gallardo, on November 11, 1951, and they were married for 61 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Monica Machado; his sons, David Gallardo and Armando Gallardo; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who cherished him deeply. Each of them carries forward his legacy of hard work and kindness, reflecting the values he instilled in them throughout his lifetime.
David lived a life rich with service and love, culminating in a remarkable 30-year career at a local college where he diligently took care of the campus and its community. He could often be found chatting and joking with neighbors, bank tellers, and with many, both young and old. He took pride in his cars, yard, and loved music, sports, and his LA Rams and LA Dodgers.
David’s warmth and dedication will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy not only in the memories of his family but also in the hearts of those who benefited from his unwavering commitment to his profession and the community he served. As they gather to remember him, the love he shared and the lessons he imparted will undoubtedly resonate for generations to come.
